Move Over, "Fantasia"

Good performance of Haydn's Creation + much more creative video than one generally sees for a classical music concert = your inspiration for this week's hump day.

The playlist for this performance can be found on YouTube. If you're not familiar with Haydn's Creation, you should definitely check the whole thing out.  Think Handel's Messiah, except the story is of—er, well, how not to put this redundantly—the Creation! instead of the Redemption, of mankind.  The texts for Creation are based on the Bible and Paradise Lost.  Incidentally, Creation ends before the Fall, with a chorus of angels plus Adam and Eve doing a double fugue in praise of God.  Seems to me that there should be an interquel somewhere out there ...
